Amb Njoolay (74) is widely recognised for his tenure as Regional Commissioner in Arusha, Mwanza and Rukwa, as well as his diplomatic service as Tanzania’s High Commissioner to Nigeria.

The autobiography traces the Ambassador’s life from his early humble upbringing in Masailand to his rise through the ranks of public administration and diplomacy.

It presents a detailed account of the national milestones he witnessed over the years and explores the values that shaped his leadership, including discipline, integrity and a strong sense of patriotism.

Beyond recounting his official duties, the book offers personal reflections and insights into key political and administrative moments in Tanzania’s history. It also captures the challenges he encountered, the reforms he championed and the lessons he drew from decades of service.
