Kilimeru 313 won the toss and elected to bat first but struggled with the bat managing only 52 for 9 in their allotted overs in the ongoing Arusha Cricket League at the St. Constantine grounds.
Mohammed Hussain was the top scorer with 13 runs while Annadil Burhani’s bowlers dominated the innings. Huzeifa Seifuddin delivered a standout spell, finishing with 2 for 5, supported well by Taher Aziz, who claimed 2 for 18.
The chase was wrapped up swiftly in just four overs, with Seifuddin once again among the runs, scoring an unbeaten 34, as Hani Mohammed also remained not out. The convincing performance handed Annadil Burhani a 10-wicket victory.
In the second game, Annadil Burhani posted 108 for 9 in their allotted 20 overs. Murtaza Chomoco anchored the innings with an unbeaten 39, while Burhan Akil contributed 14 runs.
Among the bowlers, Bewana Benald impressed with figures of 2 for 18, while Yasir Patel was economical, picking up 2 for 9.
The target was comfortably chased down by MCC in 12 overs, losing just three wickets along the way. Aneesh Jeepron led the charge with a commanding unbeaten 72, sealing a well-earned victory for his side.
The league continues this weekend at the same venue.
