Shaheed Bibo’s unbeaten half-century and Abbas Ali’s five-wicket haul helped Kilimeru313 grab a narrow three-run win over Annadil in a low-scoring thriller in the Arusha Region 20-over cricket tournament at the St. Constantine ground.

Batting first, Kilimeru posted 111 for 8, with Bibo anchoring the innings with a steady 54 not out off 39 balls. Annadil’s bowlers kept things tight—Taha Nurhabi (2 for 7), Huzaife Seifuddin (2 for 16) and Burhan Musaeje (2 for 17) shared the wickets.

In reply, Annadil reached 108 for 8, falling just short of the target. Hani Mohamed scored 45, while Taha Nurhabi chipped in with 16, but Kilimeru’s bowlers held their nerve. Abbas Ali was the hero with 5 for 11 and Zaayan took 2 for 21, sealing Kilimeru’s first win of the tournament.

Meanwhile, Yongendra Azad’s six-wicket burst led Telleq to a dominant 46-run win over Kilimeru in the second match of the day.

Telleq batted first and posted a strong 143 for 8, thanks to contributions from Kelvin (35), Sandeep Teelleq (24) and Harshil Patel (23). Kilimeru’s bowlers tried their best to manage—Gulfan took 4 for 25, with support from Imran Dhalla (3 for 36) and Shahab Haider (2 for 20).

Kilimeru’s chase fell away under pressure, with Alisagar Hirji (27) and Ali Alwya Sheriff (26), but their middle order collapsed under pressure from Yongendra Azad, who finished with figures of 6 for 23. Harshad (for 29) and Vinay Kumar (1 for 11), handing Telleq a convincing victory.
