In a resounding tribute to Tanzania’s world-renowned natural heritage, Miss World 2025, Opal Suchata of Thailand and Miss World Africa, Hasset Dereje of Ethiopia, have expressed deep admiration for the beauty of Serengeti National Park and the Ngorongoro Conservation Area.

The two beauty queens were in Tanzania last week as part of a cultural and tourism mission, showcasing the country’s rich heritage, biodiversity and tourism potential. During their visit to the Serengeti, a UNESCO world heritage site known for the great migration and its abundant wildlife, Miss World was visibly moved by the sheer splendour of the landscape.

“This is one of the most magical places on earth,” said Opal Suchata. “The Serengeti is not only beautiful but also alive with the spirit of Africa.”

“I have travelled to many beautiful places but Ngorongoro is something else,” said Miss World Africa, Hasset. “Tanzania has a gift in this natural marvel and the world needs to see it.”

The beauty pageants also met with President Samia Suluhu Hassan and hailed her strong leadership. President Samia also met with the World Miss Beauty Organiser, Julia Morley and discussed the possibility of Tanzania hosting the world event.
