Reece Shah emerged as the winner of the annual one-day Vaisakhi golf competition with a net score of 72, dethroning last year’s champion Monu Singh, who settled for tenth place in the fiercely contested Division One.
The first division also saw a close finish, with Aliabbas Kermali and Simon Travers both carding net scores of 73, claiming the runner-up and third-place spots respectively.
In Division Two, Rashid Rashid clinched top honours on countback with a net 71, edging out Sheetal Aggarwal who also finished with 71. Abbas Lalji followed in third with a net 73.
Division Three Bhavesh Gohil posted 69. He was trailed by Niraj Vaghela (71) and Cyril Brown (74).
