The submission of nomination forms for various leadership positions in the Tanzania Football Federation (TFF) officially closed yesterday, June 20, paving the way for the vetting process ahead of the federation’s General Election slated for August 16, 2025, in Tanga.
The election is expected to draw wide interest, especially for the top seat, as the process officially moves into the vetting and campaigning phase. The outcome will determine who will steer Tanzanian football for the next term amid rising interest and expectations from fans and stakeholders.
The TFF has reiterated its commitment to transparency and adherence to its electoral code throughout the process.
