Tanzania’s top lady golfers, including Arusha’s Madina Idd, will take part in the four-day Kenya Ladies Golf Championship at the prestigious Kenya Railway Golf Club in Nairobi.
The championship which started Wednesday May 1, at Sigona Golf Course, is a segment of the series of regional events being organized by the Kenya Ladies Golf Union (KLGU) and sanctioned by the Africa Golf Confederation (AGC) and R&A World Golf Association (WGA), the self-rule body for golfers across the world.
Madina Idd, representing Arusha Gymkhana Club, heads to the tournament with high hopes after topping her club’s leaderboard in recent qualifiers. The event will not only be a big honor to Tanzania but a great exposure for the national female golfers taking part in the high-profile competition.
