The Ali Chomoko Memorial Cricket Cup reaches its climax tomorrow, Sunday December 7, 2025, at the St. Constantine Ground when MCC meet Tellegu in the eagerly awaited final.
MCC booked their spot last weekend with a narrow 21-run triumph over A to Z in a thrilling match.
Winning the toss, MCC elected to bat first, with the tournament’s leading run-scorer Aneesh Jeepron once again anchoring the innings with a brisk 61 runs. He was well supported by Kunal Patel, who chipped in with a valuable 21, guiding MCC to a competitive total of 144 in their allotted overs.
A to Z’s bowling attack featured notable performances from Chandra Prakash, who delivered impressive figures of 4 for 37 and Dushant Singh, who claimed 3 for 13 to keep the pressure on.
Tomorrow’s final guarantees a new champion, with both MCC and Tellegu eager to close the year on a high. Tellegu head into the decider after suffering two final losses earlier in the year — first to ACC and later to Kilimeru in the 10-over competition — while MCC were runners-up to ACC in the six-a-side final.
A thrilling showdown awaits cricket fans at the St. Constantine Ground as the curtain falls on this year’s Ali Chomoko Memorial Cup.
