Arusha Gymkhana Club was buzzing with colour, cheers and competitive spirit last weekend as golfers took on the one-day challenging Jatin Sonecha Cross Country Tournament.
The course layout — known for testing both skill and patience — delivered a thrilling day of shot-making and surprises.
Rising above the field was Jatin Sonecha, whose composed play earned him the overall title with a brilliant net 62 after countback.
Hot on his heels was Avtar Singh Neote, also carding a 62, while Andries Neethling powered into third with yet another 62 in a rare three-way tie that kept the leaderboard shaking until the final tally.
Club favourite Teji Bansal secured fourth place with a confident 64 and Abbas Lalji rounded off the top five, crafting a steady net 65 to stay among the tournament’s standout performers.
