After winning the toss, ACC elected to field, sending MCC in to bat first in the Arusha Cricket League at the St. Constantines Ground last weekend.
MCC posted a solid total of 126 for 4, built on a composed 48 from Baraku and a valuable 25 by Yasir Patel.
Karimu was the pick of the ACC bowlers, returning impressive figures of 2/9.
In response, ACC never settled into the chase. Anish Jeepron led MCC’s bowling attack with a brilliant spell of 6/14, well supported by Soham, who claimed 2/10. ACC were eventually bowled out for 83.
Gurpreet Singh and Sanjay Mohitte were the only notable contributors with the bat for ACC, both scoring 17 runs.
The victory secures MCC a place in the semi-finals alongside A to Z while ACC exit the competition.
The other semi-final will be between Tallegu and Annadil Burhani.
