POLICE ARREST 3 CATTLE ‘RUSTLERS’

BY THE ARUSHA NEWS REPORTER

The police in Arusha have arrested three people who were allegedly trying to transport 286 head of cattle and 566 goats and sheep illegally across the border to a neighbouring country.

A statement issued midweek by the Stock Theft Prevention Unity (STPU) said the men were arrested at Matalea “A” village in Longido district that borders Kenya.

It identified the men as Ndoibo Kiloleti, Joseph Kiloleti and Deleta Juma, all residents of Gilaibomba village in the district. It was not immediately clear whether the ‘Kiloletis’ were related.
