Malawi’s Paul Chidale won this year’s 2026 Tanzania Open Golf Championship at Kili Golf last weekend, finishing four strokes clear of Tanzania’s Nuru Mollel.
Chidale completed the four-day tournament with a total of 289 strokes to claim the title.
Mollel finished second on 293 whereas Kenya’s Robinson Owiti took third place with 294.
Mollel had made a strong start to the tournament, carding a one-under-par 71 to lead after the opening round last Thursday. However, Chidale finished the championship ahead of the Tanzanian to secure the top prize.
