SIMBA FACE ESPERANCE IN TUNIS

Three Tanzanian clubs will be in continental action this weekend as the country continues its push in CAF competitions across Africa.

In the CAF Champions League, Simba SC are set for a tough away assignment tomorrow, 25 January, travelling to Tunisia to face African giants Espérance Sportive de Tunis in a crucial group-stage encounter.

In the CAF Confederation Cup, Azam FC will be on the road on Sunday, taking on Kenya’s Nairobi United FC in Nairobi while Singida Black Stars will be at home hosting AS Otoho of the Republic of the Congo.

With three clubs representing the nation across the continent, the weekend promises to be an important one for Tanzanian football as sides battle for progress in Africa’s elite club competitions.
