Two Arusha-based teams — Police Arusha SC and Institute of Accountancy Arusha (IAA) — are set to carry the region’s hopes as Tanzania heads into the prestigious East African Netball Clubs Championship scheduled from Sunday, May 10, 2026, in Nairobi, Kenya.
The week-long tournament will be staged at Ulinzi Sports Complex in Lang’ata and Nyayo National Stadium, bringing together top clubs from East Africa.
Tanzania will be represented by four teams — Police Arusha, IAA, Jeshi Stars and Tanzania Veterans — all of whom have been in intensive preparations ahead of departure.
The championship will also feature strong contenders, including Kenya Prisons and KCB as well as Uganda’s giants NIC and UCU Lady Cardinals. Teams from Zanzibar are also expected to join the competition.
