ARUSHA is set to host some of Africa’s leading pool players when the CueMasters International Tournament gets underway on August 27, 2026.
The five-day competition will run to August 31, bringing together players from Tanzania and other African countries to battle for honours in one of the major pool tournaments to be staged in the city this year.
Organisers have announced a total prize purse of US$23,800, adding further attraction to the tournament as preparations enter the final stages.
Among the players confirmed for the tournament is defending champion Royd Kabwe, popularly known as “Spaxman” of Zambia, who will return to Arusha seeking to retain his crown.
Kabwe won the previous CueMasters International title after defeating his opponent, Ceaser, 13-8 in the final and his return is expected to add interest to this year’s competition.
