NANE NANE SHOW KICKS OFF

The 32nd Northern Zone Agribition Agriculture, opens to the public today at the Nane Nane Grounds in Themi, Njiro, Arusha.

The exhibition, popularly known as Nane Nane, will run until August 9, 2026, bringing together farmers, livestock keepers, fishermen researchers, entrepreneurs, investors and representatives of public and private institutions.

This year’s exhibition is being held under the theme: “Know Your Market, Increase Productivity and Implement the National Development Vision 2050.

The theme calls on producers to understand market demand before making production decisions, improve the quantity and quality of their output and contribute to the implementation of Tanzania’s long-term development agenda.

Visitors will have the opportunity to learn about modern agricultural practices and innovations in livestock technologies, improved farming keeping, fisheries, value addition and agribusiness.

Arusha Regional Administrative Secretary (RAS), Dr Toba Nguvila, said preparations has been completed with significant improvements made to the organisation of the event and infrastructure at the exhibition grounds.

Speaking during a recent meeting with exhibition stakeholders at the Themi grounds, Dr Nguvila said this year’s event has been organised to a high standard and was expected to provide improved experience for exhibitors and visitors. Gates will open from 8:00 am to 6:00 pm.

National level celebrations are being held at the Dr John Samuel Malecela Nane Nane Exhibition Grounds in Nzuguni, Dodoma.
