The Arusha District Football Association (ADFA) has launched its 2026 Under-17 League opening a fresh platform for young footballers to compete, develop and showcase their talent at the district level.
The league officially started on June 7, 2026 and is part of ongoing efforts to strengthen grassroots football in Arusha and create a clearer development pathway for young players from academies, clubs and community teams, according to ADFA Secretary General, Frederick Lyimo.
The 12 teams taking part are: Madini FC, Black Eagle Sports Academy, Peace Youth Football Academic, Nyota Football Academy, Intel FC and Arusha 05 (Group A) and Youth Talents, Engutoto FC, Magnet Youth, Safari Warriors SC, Royal SC and Manna FC (Group B).
The month-long league is expected to close in the second week of next month.
