Beneath the waves, so deep and cold,
A shadow moves, so fierce, so bold.
A cage descends, the water dark,
And then—it comes—the great white shark!
Its teeth like knives, its eyes so still,
A predator with endless will.
It circles close, it bumps the cage,
A silent king, a sea-born sage.
Your breath is tight, your hands grip fast,
A brush with fate that may not last.
It lunges once, the bars hold firm,
A thrill so sharp, your senses burn.
Then—just as fast—it turns away,
A ghost that vanishes in the bay.
In Africa, where oceans reign,
The bravest hearts test fear’s domain.
The cage ascends, your lungs exhale,
You faced the beast, you lived the tale!
And now the sea feels like your own,
For through the fear, you’ve braver grown.
