NORTHERN ZONE BEAUTIES EYE MISS TANZANIA CROWN

Miss World Tanzania 2026 is set to take place tomorrow in Dar es Salaam with 20 contestants from across the country competing for the national crown.

Among the hopefuls are three representatives from the Northern Zone – Christina Mmbaga, Saraphina Kiyosaki and Shannon Mandia who secured their places in the national finals following zonal selections.

Mmbaga, who emerged as the Northern Zone winner, will be joined by Kiyosaki and Mandia, who finished second and third respectively in the zonal competition.

The trio will face competition from other contestants drawn from various zones across the country, including Tracy Shimba, Nouru, Vanessa Mtui, Rebecca Muna, Latricia Ian Sawe and Kahwili representing Dar es Salaam, Jackline Nyabisi and Sabina Mwaitela from Higher Learning Institutions, Joyce Kapizo from the Southern Highlands and Aisha Masoud representing Zanzibar.

Other finalists selected from the Eastern, Central and Lake zones include Neema Mwakalebela, Faraja Mtemi, Rehema Michael, Zainabu Juma and Halima Ally.

The Northern Zone, which comprises Arusha, Kilimanjaro, Manyara and Tanga regions, has consistently produced strong contenders in national pageants and expectations remain high for this year’s representatives.

The winner of the pageant will represent Tanzania at the Miss World competition.
